Globalex is an organization that aims to facilitate collaboration among professionals and academics involved in creating dictionaries and language resources globally. It includes representatives from continental lexicography associations and focuses on promoting knowledge sharing, research, and the use of lexicographical resources.

During the 6th Globalex Workshop on Lexicography and Neology, organized in Pretoria, on July 3rd, Giovanni Tallarico, John Humbley and Ilan Kernerman provided a complete overview of ENEOLI, outlining the goals of each Working Group and describing ongoing research, especially from the lexicographic point of view.

The talk was well received by the South African audience, who highlighted the importance of accounting for neologisms in their national context.
