On March 20, 2026, Miguel Sánchez Ibáñez presented his work on queer realities in Spanish lexicography, L’intégration des réalités queer dans le Diccionario de la Lengua Española (DLE) : défis et avancées at the conference  Dictionnaires généraux et idéologies au XXIe siècle, which took place at the University of Strasbourg, which was organized by professors Vincent Balnat and Julie Glikman. Attending such an event significantly enhanced his visibility within a global community dedicated to the study of ideological perspectives on the treatment and inclusion of neologisms in dictionaries. As the sole Spanish-speaking representative, his contribution became a focal point for discussions related to the Spanish-speaking context.
