The presentation was recorded and is available at this link.
The presentation generated significant interest, fostering dynamic discussions and sparking enthusiasm for collaboration. Informal interactions during the event allowed Costa and Salgado to establish vital new connections, particularly concerning Working Group 1 (Multilingual Glossary of Neology) and Task 1.2, which involves the identification and validation of terms in multiple languages. The engagements secured contributors for previously underrepresented languages, strengthening ENEOLI’s capacity for multilingual analysis.
Notable outcomes also included an invitation to present at an international seminar in March 2025 hosted by Huazhong University in China. The seminar will focus on European lexicography in China, and it is expected to attract educators, students, and potentially commercial publishers. Additionally, esteemed academics such as Geng Yundong and Lian Chen have joined the ENEOLI network, further expanding its global reach.
