Alina Trubnikova’s Short-Term Scientific Mission took place at the University of Lisbon from June 15 to September 15, 2026. Portugal is a country with a rich history, stunning architecture, and a unique atmosphere. It was a full-fledged immersion in an international environment; every day brought new knowledge, new acquaintances, and new experiences. During her scientific mission, the grantee gained valuable skills in corpus studies, in particular, in corpus compilation and the extraction of terms and neologisms. The members of the research group Grammar and Resources, along with their director, Gueórgui Hristovsky, at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon, were highly qualified and always ready to help. It has been an extremely rewarding experience that allowed Alina Trubnikova to expand her network of contacts and enriched her both academically and personally. The grantee is grateful to ENEOLI for giving her the opportunity to undertake this scientific mission. She would strongly advise young researchers to undertake STSMs with the help of ENEOLI and the COST Association.
