Participating in Language Resources and Evaluation Conference 2026 was a particularly enriching experience, both scientifically and personally. Elisa Gugliotta presented the paper “A New Semantic Artifact Based Framework for Studying and Documenting Algospeak and Related Phenomena”, co-authored with Fahad Khan, Elisa Squadrito, Maura Tarquini, and Francesca Frontini, within the framework of COST Action ENEOLI (CA22126).

Beyond the presentation itself, the conference represented a unique opportunity to reconnect with international colleagues and researchers working on related topics, while also meeting new scholars from different disciplinary and linguistic backgrounds. The discussions around algospeak, semantic resources, lexical innovation, and digital language practices opened stimulating perspectives for future exchanges and possible collaborations.
The event confirmed the importance of interdisciplinary and international dialogue for developing shared methodologies and interoperable resources for the study of rapidly evolving online linguistic phenomena.
