I’m a lexicographer and researcher deeply committed to advancing language sciences and digital humanities, with a special passion for lexicography, terminology, and data modelling. My academic journey led me to earn a PhD in Translation and Terminology from NOVA University Lisbon, where I continue to explore the richness of language as a researcher at the NOVA CLUNL. My career in Portuguese lexicography includes the honour of serving as chief editor for the dictionaries of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, a role that fuels my dedication to preserving and innovating linguistic resources. My work extends beyond national borders—I actively engage in international research infrastructures and standardization efforts, including the revision of ISO 1951:2007 and contributions to the DARIAH Lexical Resources Working Group, particularly with TEI Lex-0. As the COST National Coordinator for ENEOLI (European Network on Lexical Innovation) and co-leader of WG1 (Multilingual Glossary of Neology), I’m committed to shaping the future of lexical innovation across Europe. My journey began with leadership roles at Porto Editora and has evolved into significant contributions within the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.
