Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Cadiz, where she completed her Bachelor’s degrees in Hispanic Philology and Linguistics and her PhD in Linguistics, and with a Master’s degree in Lexicography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the UNED, she is a member of the Semaínein Research Group of Excellence and the University Institute for Research in Applied Linguistics. Her main lines of research are neology and lexicography, as evidenced by her publications, her presentations and communications given at national and international forums and the courses and seminars in which she has participated.
