FEATURED NEOLOGISM:

APERICENA (Italian). This term combines “aperitivo” (aperitif) and “cena” (dinner) and is used to refer to a light meal, often in the form of a buffet, consumed during aperitif time.

I have a background in Digital Classics and Digital Scholarly Editing. Currently, I work as a Senior Researcher in language technologies, focussing on projects related to Language Research Infrastructures, Speech-to-Text/Translation for low-resource languages, linguistic corpora and the automatic identification of lexical innovation in contemporary Italian web texts. As of September 2024, my most recent published work explores Twitter before its academic shutdown and transition to X: https://github.com/breviloquia-italica.
