Henrik Lorentzen (born 1960), senior editor at the Society for Danish Language and Literature. I am a Master of Arts in French and Musicology (1990) from the University of Copenhagen. After being employed for a few years partly at the dictionary department of the publishing house Gyldendal, partly at the University of Copenhagen (Romance Studies), I secured a position at the Society for Danish Language and Literature in 1994, where I continue to work as an editor at the Danish Dictionary and the Danish Thesaurus. From 2006 to 2016, I was a member of the Danish Language Council and, among other things, served as chairperson of the advisory board on orthography. I find working with semantic change and the practical implications for lexicographic work and lexicographic resources very interesting and very important.
