Ivana Filipović Petrović is a Senior Research Associate at the Linguistics Research Institute of the Croatian Academy of Sciences, specializing in phraseology, historical and electronic lexicography, and the use of digital tools in lexicography. She coordinates the Online Dictionary of Croatian Idioms and contributes to the Dictionary of the Croatian Literary Language and the Croatian Science Foundation project on semantic-syntactic verb classification. Within the COST Action PhraConRep, she investigates phraseme constructions using corpora and AI tools and has conducted a hands-on workshop on this topic. In ENEOLI, she coordinates Croatian equivalents in a multilingual neology thesaurus. She has co-organized several workshops on using CLARIN.SI corpora in language research across South Slavic countries. In 2022, she received the Best Project Award at the Linguistic Linked Open Data Datathon. She currently serves as Head of the Zagreb Branch of the Croatian Society for Applied Linguistics.
